The Save Our Services crowdfunding campaign came to an end on March 20th, with a total of $20,713 raised! The top two fundraising teams were recognized by RACES and received prizes donated by local sponsors.

Bachelor’s of Social Work Association – $5,928 Raised

Who we are: We are made up of BSWA executive members, the School of Social Work advisor, and other social work students.

Why RACES is important to us: Some of our team members have utilized RACES services. We believe social services are a necessity, not a luxury. The resources RACES provides are necessary in supporting survivors of sexual assault.

Makerspace Urbana – $5,441 Raised

Who we are: Makerspace Urbana is an open community lab where people of diverse backgrounds can learn, teach, tinker, collaborate, share, innovate, socialize, and create.

Why RACES is important to us: As a feminist organization, we recognize that supporting RACES is critical to supporting the type of community we wish to build within our own space.
