Trauma Therapist

RACES (Rape Advocacy, Counseling & Education Services) seeks a therapist to join our therapy department and provide mental health therapy to survivors of sexual violence age 3 and up. This position will conduct approximately 20 hours a week of individual or family therapy and facilitate therapy groups.

Qualifications:

Required Education, Licensure, and Experience

  • At least nine months of therapy experience with both adults and children.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work with a diverse population, and a team-focused orientation.
  • A master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
  • Degree must be license eligible, but a license is not a requirement for this position.
  • Experience with marginalized communities preferred.

Salary minimum $55,000 per year. RACES provides supervision to obtain LCSW licensure at no expense to employees.

Human Resources Intern

RACES is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in various HR functions.

Responsibilities:
A. Assists with accurate and timely service data entry.

B. Organizes employee files and assists with necessary updating of documentation.

C. Assists with and improves onboarding process.

D. Assists with job posting, recruitment and interviews as positions need filled

E. Assist with employee evaluation tool selection

F. Complies with all local, state, and federal legal requirements and relevant ethical standards.

G. Upholds exceptional standards of confidentiality with regard to employee information.

Requirements:
– Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
